About Avery

Avery Darnell Nowlin, passed away at the young age of 22 on Saturday, February 5th, 2022. He was born on December 20th, 1999 in Decatur, GA to parents India Vincent and Sedrick Nowlin.

Avery was a graduate of Stone Mountain High School in Stone Mountain, GA where he was raised. He was a proud and beloved partner of Starbucks Corporation in Tucker, GA.

Surviving in addition to his parents are step-mother Cecelia Nowlin, siblings Mercer, Trinity, Alayna, Xavier, grandparents Miriam Vincent, Linda Holland, Darnell Nowlin, and Corey Clark, and great-grandparents Ida and AD Holland.

Avery was a wonderfully gifted artist and positive spiritual spark in this world. His presence will be so greatly missed by all who knew, loved and were inspired by him. His hobbies included skateboarding, travelling, sketching and drawing, playing guitar and video games, and writing his novel. Although his favorite thing in the world (aside from sneaking honey packets into his partners aprons when they weren’t looking) was spending time with friends and family.
